Time to do your money date then celebrate your wins over a mimosa with a girlfriend.

Here is your three step-by-step money date guide:
Motivate. This step is all about getting excited for the possibilities you can create for yourself when you have agency over your finances. Begin with reviewing where you spent your money this week. Next, set an intention for how much money you want to make next week and brainstorm how will be able to do that. Finally, close out this step by paying yourself first! This can be to your personal checking, savings or investing accounts!
Elevate. What impact do you want to make in the world? Reflect on the cause(s) that you care most about and how you can you can use your money to make a positive impact!
Celebrate! Grab a girlfriend, or a few, and meet up for a mimosa this weekend. Chat about your career goals and the impact you all wish to have on the world. Then share how you all can support each other to create the world you all want to live in!

This week’s philanthropy spotlight: California Symphony
If you are a fan of the arts and a believer in the healing power of music, the California Symphony may be an organization you may wish to donate to and make an impact with your money.
The mission of the California Symphony is to enhance the lives of those it serves in Contra Costa County and the extended San Francisco Bay Area by performing the full range of orchestral repertoire of the highest quality with special attention to the work of American composers, presenting talented young performers in their first professional concert appearances, featuring performances by world class artists, and providing education outreach programs for children and adults.
Founded in 1986 under founding Music Director Barry Jekowsky, their vision is to become a 21st-century orchestra, making classical music relevant to those we serve, bringing in new audiences along the way, and ultimately more fully living up to our name across the state of California.
The California Symphony, now in its sixth season under the leadership of Music Director Donato Cabrera, is distinguished by its vibrant concert programs that combine classics alongside American repertoire and works by living composers, and for bringing music to people in new and unconventional settings.
Over the last four years, under the leadership team of Cabrera and Executive Director Aubrey Bergauer, the California Symphony’s audience has nearly doubled and the donor base nearly quadrupled.
Outside of the concert hall, the Symphony actively supports music education as a driver for social change through its El Sistema-inspired Sound Minds program at Downer Elementary School in San Pablo, CA, which brings intensive music instruction and academic enrichment to schoolchildren in an area where 94% of students qualify for the federal free or reduced price lunch program, at no cost to the students who participate.

My dress is from Ray Darten, a unique African made apparel by Nigerian designer Yetunde Olukoya.
The dress cost $174. My shoes are from Rocket Dog, I purchased them from thredUp for $25.
My entire outfit cost about $200.
